Q1 2021 Performance of Top Air Travel Apps on Android in Brazil

In the first quarter of 2021, the air travel app sector in Brazil saw varied performance across popular platforms on Android. Sensor Tower's data offers a glimpse into the trends of downloads and weekly active users for these applications.

LATAM Airlines experienced a peak in downloads early in the quarter with 20K, followed by a gradual decline to 8K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users reflected a similar trend, starting at 80K and decreasing to 62K.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker showed consistent revenue generation, with a slight decline from $2K to $1.2K over the quarter. Downloads hit a high of 14K in early February but dipped to 6K towards the end of March. Weekly active users had a high point of 71K in mid-January but saw a dip and then a rise back up to 71K by the quarter's end.

Planes Live - Flight Tracker also observed fluctuations in revenue, with a notable spike to $183 in early March. Downloads saw a high of 1.7K in mid-January, which then fell to 425 by March's end. The app's active users showed a slight decline from 6.7K to 4.4K over the quarter.

The Flight Tracker had modest revenue figures, peaking at $19 in late March. Downloads remained under 1K throughout the quarter, with a slight decrease from 687 to 416. Active users started at around 5.2K and ended the quarter at 4.9K.

TAP Air Portugal did not generate revenue but saw downloads peak at 762 in late January, later decreasing to 358 by March. Weekly active users peaked at 1.6K in the same month and fell to just over 1K by the quarter's end.
